Since when did The Velvet Underground and The Pixes have anything in common lyrically or melodically? The Velvet Underground is one of my favorites and i adore The Pixies but, i don't really see the connection, not even the drugs.
Anyway, in an attempt to beat the system, i decided to stick to my knowledge of genres rather than typing in the name of the band.
I typed in, "Ragtime" and although i skipped a few songs, a majority of them were on the money. However, this treasure managed to pop up amongst the sea of "Fast Forward Track" arrows and i couldn't help but have a chipper feeling flutter in the pit of my stomach. I lost my shit when i heard this song, I mean, how can you be sad and listen to this?
Better yet, how can you seriously listen to this with a straight face?

I don't want to insult the guy, i don't know what the rest of his work sounds like and i don't hate it because something about it triggers a similarity to something i can't quite pin down... that's the scary part...
Anyhow, this, this is fantesticle.
I would bear no shame blasting this from my car if it made someone happy.
